The lead time is effective after validation of a CMA Sale Order and if all requirements are fulfilled to produce the job such as: ready-to-print digital file and having the production stock.
In order to reduce the turnaround, please make sure that your files are well-prepared. All the digital files have to be sent for review with enough time in advance to plan its production. The format files accepted must be with recent software versions such as Illustrator or Adobe. Preferably PDF-X 'print-ready' including all relevant information such as fonts, images, etc… In case the file is not compliant, the customer will have to edit the file. If required, the CMA operator can edit the file with an up charge with a minimum of 1 hour.
The files including Pantone® colors must use the same name as per the Pantone® color library. Otherwise, convert the Pantone® color to CMYK.
Extra printing channels must be identified as a Spot Color layer with its respective name to easily recognize the channel
Custom Spot Colors
The transfer is a process of printing the image reverse on the CMA inkjet transfer film and then is transferred with a hot laminator into the production stock. Therefore, to produce your proof it is required to receive the production stock prior to execute the file.
If mounting is required, clear instructions and an extra day are required.
